With Man United gaining ground on Chelsea earlier in the week, with a convincing win against West Ham, it’s now Arsenal’s turn to prove we can cope with the pressure. Chelsea are playing Man City at Stamford Bridge, and with our late kick-off against Stoke on Saturday, we really could be up against it.

I’m confident we will beat Stoke tomorrow. We seem intent on revenge, and I’m sure the Arsenal players haven’t forgotten about the cheating (time-wasting) involved during the FA Cup match when Stoke embarrassed us. This time will be different, the game means a lot more to Arsenal and we will have the big boys back.
I’m predicting a scoreline of 2-1 to Arsenal, with goals from Bendtner and Rosicky.
I’m hoping Wenger starts with the following team, with Nasri replacing Denilson in the middle, and having Eboue replace Walcott on the wing. I would even go as far as sticking Eboue in the middle of the park, he did a job there a couple of times last season.

I tend to agree with that mid field. Eboue and Rosicky could be a good pairing with Fabregas Song and Nasri supporting. Meanwhile Bendtner can make a nusience of himself hanging around the penalty area.

I think your prediction is right but for one thing.Eboue will be at right MF and Nasri at right wing,with Theo coming on later
Cesc, Song, and Bendtner are all certainties.

Denilson and Theo (not preferred) … and …
Vela and Merida (unfortunately not considered).
How about that … with Diaby and Arshavin both out we actually have options that don’t cause the heart to sink. Who’d have thought?

AW will go with Clichy I guess. Although Stoke are not the quickest team, they surely are physical & we need the big body of Silvestre to deny the long throws that damages us at the past 2 visits 2 times (always of the left hand side). I go with Sagna to keep Eboue fit to the CL clash where more attacking power needed. At the Britania defense needed more.
Midfield trio- my pick: Fabregas-Song-Ramsey
It’s tempting to consider having Eboue as a right midfielder or even as a front right man, but I believe this have to be Walcott’s game. He will burst in the right & hit at the counter attack. I hope AW wont play Denilson & let him on the bench for few games. Thinking about his own joggings in the past few games.

i’m an arsenal fan for long. my problem is our pattern of play that does not allow players to take shot outside the box. i’m urging wenger to try that pattern. we are also in need of a standard attacker with exit of van persie. thanks
