Gunnersgun,
the reason i gave Arshavin a higher mark than you might expect is because tottenham man marked him. He has become our threat and our focal point for an attack.
Aside from a couple of misplaced passes he rarely lost possession and struck fear into the tottenham defence which visibly reeled backward when he grabbed the ball. If he had his usually shooting boots on he could easily have bagged two goals in the first thirty minutes.

diaby ???? (1st half poor but improve towards the end of 2nd half), arshavin, disagree with ratings, too generous (I think his heart is at Barca), imagine being replace by either Nasri, Rosicky, Walcott, Bendtner, Denilson, Vela, Merida, Ramsey, Wilshere.......... Arsenal performance will be more all-rounded with 11 playing players instead of 9. Full of synergy.

Great performance by the squad, besides the slack passing of the opening 30 minutes or so. Gotta say it, Nick B was playing exceptional until the injury. I was very displeased by the knock in the groin he picked up
Cheers from California

Diaby was a five, he was so bad in the first half. He did well in the second to make it up to five. Give him credit, he did pretty well in defending.

Fantastic comments, Diaby deserves the 6 rating, and people will always ask why Diaby in the Gunners line up. Just know that left midfield position can only be played by Rosicky, Denilson, Nasir and Diaby. Rosicky is out injured, as is Denilson, Nasir is not fully fit that leaves Diaby as the only choice. As you may be aware, Csec is not a hard tackler, Ramsey and Merida are not yet the tough tacklers, It leaves Song and Diaby to do the dirty work. Another dimension is the other 2 midfielders Csec and Song are not that tall so the Diaby factor keeps coming in. However we give him more time he will adjust and be a real Gunner on the pitch

Great post and well said Super Csec.

agreed on your ratings, except on Diaby. i would have given him a 5 or less instead. still puzzled, why is he still ahead of Ramsey and Merida. only Arsene knows.

Gunners rules

cheers
