With the recent reshuffle in personnel to the starting line ups, I’m sure we can expect another different Arsenal side to face the Greek giants Olympiacos in the Champions League Group H match.
You can find the official match preview here.
Vito Mannone was in fine form against Fulham, and alongside the back four of Sagna, Gallas, Vermaelen and Clichy, the rest of the team is anyone’s guess.
With Denilson out of action for a couple of months with a back injury, I’d expect Song to start alongside Fabregas, with Diaby likely to be the free man in the middle.
I’m plumping for the following starting line up tonight:
Mannone
Sagna Gallas Vermaelen Clichy
Song
Fabregas Diaby
Eboue Eduardo
Van Persie
I’ve got a feeling he will rest Arshavin for this one. The Russian hasn’t been on the best of form, and a well deserved rest could do him the world of good.
I’m going to go for a 3-0 scoreline, with goals from van Persie, Fabregas and Eboue.
Come on Arsenal.

Good game, but once again in the first half we play beautiful football but don’t get anywhere. Against a better team i. e Chelsea, United we would most likely have been punished for that.
Good show though and loved Arshavin’s cheeky flick. Good game for the Russian i thought.

It was a good if not for the missed chances to score. Gunners were all over the place, a second clean win is encouraging

Yea the clean sheet was so important. Mr. Vermaelen is growing in stature (psychologically) ever week.
Edin Dzeko looked really impressive last night against United. We apparantly were interested in the 6ft 4-5 striker this summer. I think to be honest we should take both him and Grafite from Wolfsburg. 17-18 Mil each.
Couple them with Neven Subotic and then a very good quality CDM to play with Song (who is really impressing this year) and i think we would have not only depth, but quality in depth that even Chelsea/United etc couldn’t compete with.
