ARSENAL SET TO MISS OUT ON WONDERKID

Aston Villa seem to have gained the lead in the chase to sign Leeds United wonderkid Fabian Delph, after the two clubs agreed a fee.

I’ve not seen Delph at all, but from all accounts he seems to be a special talent, and one which Arsene Wenger would thrive on nurturing.

After stealing Aaron Ramsey from under the noses of Man United, and Walcott from a host of English club, I wouldn’t be surprised if Wenger jumps in with a last minute bid to sign the youngster.

He’s not what we need right now, but I’d settle for anything at this current rate, and he does sound like a gem.

We should sneak in with a Delph bid. you’re right, we don’t need him now, but he is a quality player.

    Don’t believe the hype.

Delph signed for Villa earlier this evening.

  4. Shame we missed out on Delph. It’s always nice to capture little gems, even if we have no idea what they’re like and they’re not going to get a game for 2-3 years!!
