According to The Telegraph, Arsenal are on the verge of signing young St Etienne midfielder Blaise Matuidi for a fee of £2.5m.
I’ve not really seen much of Matuidi if I’m totally honest, but at this stage I’ll be over the moon with us getting a defensive midfielder in. He can’t be worse than Denilson. Song is too inconsistent. Diaby is not a footballer, but he could make a few quid offering rides around the Spanish coast. Get him out now Wenger.
In the same article, The Telegraph are also reporting that Newcastle defender Sebastien Bassong has sent a coma-and-get-me plea to Arsenal to sign him. How good can he be? I don’t remember anything of him at all and I watched a lot of Premiership games last season.

Yes Bentley is also on my Hit list but i do not trust he deserved to be punched when he was with his pregnant wife… that part is sad but otherwise he well might have deserved it… i really hope Arsenal will show their metal this season.. love you Gunners
