BBC are reporting that Manchester United have announced that Carloz Tevez is definitely leaving the club.
If we get rid of Adebayor, then we should jump at the chance to sign Tevez. He would be absolutely spot on for Arsenal.
Interestingly, Vermealen has yet to be given a squad number. Could the rumours linking Kolo Toure to a move to Manchester City be true? With Vermealen ready to nick the number 5 shirt? Generally, players are always given a squad number as soon as they sign, so this looks like it could happen.
I would be sad to see Toure leave Arsenal, because of his great attitude, but he has been diabolical for us in the past two seasons or so, and if I had to choose Gallas or Toure, I’d take Gallas all day long. There has been talk in the past about Gallas and Toure not seeing eye to eye, and Wenger may have actually decided that he’s got to sacrifice one, and that one being Toure.

People like you annoy me. You just follow what the media think and say and run with it without looking at the facts. There’s a reason why United don’t want Tevez because at that price he simply not good enough. 15 goals in about 50 apperances in a team that create chance after after chance (far more than Arsenal by the way) Ade scored 16 in 36. If we get rid of Ade we’ll need to get a striker a damn bit better than Tevez.

What a load of bollocks. Tevez will do so much more for the team than Adebayor has ever done. It’s not all about scoring goals, he works hard and he will get the odd goal now and then. Bergkamp probably only had one season where he scored 20+ goals. Snoop, you’re talking nonsense man.

Snoop you say there is a reason United don’t want Tevez, but reading some of the recent news articles about the whole Tevez affair, it seems Tevez no longer wants United. He had been offered a 25m contract, which would have netted him huge earnings, but he snubbed it.
Teves is a dangerous striker, if he isn’t scoring goals he is causing trouble. Compared to the current bunch we have, who are mostly lazy and don’t always perform near where they should for us, I’d say Tevez is just right for us. He works like a dog, even though he wasn’t the first choice for Fergie upfront. Our current tosh are given more money, and first team, starting football and don’t perform to the standard we need.
Its time we introduced the beast in the story of beautiful Arsenal football, and we might just see something magical.

Fine barry D lets sign some one who has scored less league goals this season than Nicklas Bentdner for £25m because “he works hard”. Lets sign some one with less assists this season than Eboue (yes EBOUE) because yes “he works hard”. As for contributions Adebayor has scored more and assisted more simple as a striker everything else is secondary.

Who was top scorer in the Premiership last season? Anelka. Would you take Anelka over Torres? or Drogba?
Most assists last season? I believe it was van Persie with 11. You’d take him over Ronaldo? Gerrard? Ashley Young?
It’s not all about the stats. The simple fact is Tevez helped Man United win the Premiership (quite comfortably). We have not seen the best of Tevez yet, but he’s a striker who doesn’t give up, and I would take that over most of our current crop.
