According to the Mirror, Inter Milan are considering a £25m swoop for our injury plagued, inconsistent, slows the game down, Dutch star, Robin van Persie.
Don’t get me wrong, I like van Persie, but he is all of the above. Yes, on his day his is a fantastic player who can turn any defence inside out, but how many of them days do we get a season? I’d say six to eight.
For them six to eight games of magic, I’d rather we cash in on him and snap up a consistent striker right now. I’d be tempted to replace van Persie with Arshavin.
It seems inevitable that Adebayor is off, and his replacement could be Wolfsburg’s free scoring front man, Edin Dzeko. The Bosnian looks similar (footballing wise) to Eduardo, with a little extra height. Check the YouTube video out. Obviously, YouTube can make anyone look good, bar Diaby, but his goalscoring record last season speaks for itself – 34 games and 32 goals!

Apparently the mood at the club is one of optimism because of this persons recent demise.

Siggi Jonsson is coming back on loan.
Its time we got rid of moaning, underperforming, doubtful trash. We have players that think they are the dogs bollocks, but cant do shit. They want raises for one good season, and then want out, when they do bad, thinking bigger clubs will take them on, and by some miracle have them in the first team.
We need players who come to Arsenal, and play with 100% effort, unlik the lazy lot we have. They should play for the honour of playing for Arsenal, or for the money they get paid, because it is their job.
With that said, some people I think we should let go:
Adebayor (lazy, shit, can sell for good money)
Bender (lazy, shit, waste as a bench warmer)
RVP (too inconsistent, might give him a chance)
Diaby (useless, hated by many)
Denilson (what is his strength? this guy seriously baffles me)
Eboue (shit, moans too much)
Silvestre (useless as a stand in, and thats what he is)
Toure (seems to prefer striking, leaving the defense empty often)
Senderos (why on earth did we not sell him before?)
Djourou (there are better)
Those are the majority of people I’d like to see go. There are alot of them, but I dont think they perform to the standard we need to move forward.
