MAN UNITED v ARSENAL PREDICTION AND A BIG GOODBYE TO MARTIN

Nobody wants to see a footballer retire at such a young age, and it’s no different for Aston Villa’s Martin Laursen.

The giant Dane announced his retirement after a number injuries and mainly a persistent knee problem. Martin is a player I actually rate a lot, and for the first half of the season, was one of the best players in the Premiership. Would have been a nice send off to win Football of the Year instead of the undeserving Ryan Giggs. Especially since the votes are taken in January and he was quality up until the end of 2008.

I know he’s not an Arsenal player, and this is an Arsenal blog, but you’ve got to feel sorry for Laursen, he’s been plagued with injuries throughout most of his career and it all seemed to be getting back on track with Villa before the setback in December. Villa will be a lot worst off without Laursen, so you can understand the recent rumours linking them to Big Phil Senderos.

Anyway, onto the big game tomorrow morning where Arsenal have a lot of pride at stake, and Man United could be and probably will be crowned champions. Losing tomorrow is hardly the same as Arsenal winning the Premiership at Man U, and winning the League at Anfield, as Rooney seems to think. Reason being, well we won the league against the team who were challenging for the same title – this time we’re out of the title race, so whether or not Man United win the league tomorrow will not be any skin of our noses. We’re hardly going to be pissed off for missing out on the Premiership when we’re 18 points behind the leaders are we??? Rooney, you’re a gypsy, and a very thick one.

Match prediction for tomorrow, Man United 1-1 Arsenal, with a goal from van Persie. I was going to predict 1-0 to Man United, but I couldn’t possibly be that negative.

I think Man U will win 3-2 against Arsenal… It all depends on who plays for the Red Devils

We will get another good old hiding up there and have to watch them win the premiership.
Who fucking cares though at this point?
They buy the league just like chelsea try to.
They wait until someone has a decent player and then just go deeper into massive debt to buy them for 30 million or so.
Fair enough that they do win everything but is it any surprise whn their squad is worth about 900 billion quid.
In fact they must be shit for not winning literally everything every single year for the last 12 years straight.
the fact that they havent proves Ferguson is a shit manager.

Not a bad result, and at least we took the game to Man U. I’ve never seen Man U defend for the last 20 minutes of a game like they did today. Fair play to them though.
