With the season dead and buried, and our only hope of salvation is to try to beat the soon-to-be champions Man United, and at least make the last game of the season a little bit exciting for the neutrals. I can see us getting a win at Old Trafford in all fairness.
In the meantime, the silly transfer rumours have already started.
This is probably the most ridiculous transfer I’ve ever heard, Emmanual Adebayor going to Chelsea to replace Didier Drogba!!! I can see the understanding in the reports, they are both clumsy Africans, but that’s where the similarities end. Let’s be honest, Drogba, as much as we love to hate him, is one of the top strikers in the Premiership with an abundance of talent, one being his beautiful diving, and for Chelsea to even consider replacing him with Adebayor would be magical for Arsenal Football Club. Adebayor is far from being top quality. Can they take Diaby to replace Malouda? They’re both French, one is good and the other is diabolical.
We’re also offering a trial to Argentinian superstar goalkeeper Damian Martinez, who at 16, seems like the ideal player right now. A goalkeeper to replace Almunia in 12 years time….. Brilliant!
The season is close to being over, and this is only the beginning of the day in the life of a bored football journalist.
Who do you fancy Arsenal being linked with over the summer period? I think we’ll get more Micah Richards articles then any other player. He’s shit and he’s young, why not bring him to Arsenal.

If this chelsea rumour is true, i would say swap drogba for adebayor.
I knwo drogba is a diver and a cheat, but he’s what we need, some passion.
I was so excited about the prospect of tevez, hangeland and alonso coming to arsenal, but i know wenger too well.
He’ll not meet the required price and play stupid until someone else (tottenham) come in and take them.
Look what’s happening with Roque Santa Cruz, we won’t meet 20mil, but tottenham will!
Listening to wenger makes me won’t to cry and throw myself in front of a train!

Wenger needs to inject passion, unfortuantely he seems to have an obsession with quiet, skillful youngster who talk the talk, but seeing as they’re only just out of diapers, can’t quite walk the walk.

These players are available to buy. You could even put a cheeky bid in for essien. We need a powerhouse (mikel, essien, alonso) in midfield!

I think Roque Santa Cruz has proved that he may have just had one lucky season. Not just with Blackburn, but his entire career. I don’t think he’s ever scored over 10 goals in one season prior to last season.
Essien would be the one Premiership player I would take over any other (bar Ronaldo), he’s different class.

I agree about Santa Cruz, I dont want him at Arsenal, he’s shit.
If Chelsea want Adebayor then we should ask for Essien + £90 million, those thick wankers would probably go for it.
I wouldnt say no to that Torres bird who plays up front for Liverpool either, she’s not bad for a tart.
