I’m watching the highlights from the Championship games, and I just saw the fattest player I’ve ever seen score a goal. It was Jon Parkin of Preston North End.
Now I’ve seen the likes of Paul Robinson and Nick Barmby in my time, but I’ve never quite seen a player like Parkin. I honestly thought it was joke.
Not only is he about 19 stone, but he’s only 27 years old!! Is there a fatter player on the planet?
