CARDIFF, ARSHAVIN AND A “CUP TEAM”

Cardiff City tomorrow in the FA Cup, and without knowing what the starting line up will be I’m still very confident of nothing but a convincing Arsenal win. It seems that Fabianski will play in goal, and Gibbs may start at left-back in place of the suspended Clichy. Whether Ramsey will play or not is undecided, but I’m sure he’ll get a run out at some time during the game, and I’m in no doubt the Cardfiff fans will give him a heroes welcome. After all, we sorted them out with a good few quid.

My prediction for tomorrow: Cardiff 0-3 Arsenal

In other news, we still haven’t signed Arshavin, and according to reports Zenit have given Arsenal an ultimatum to sign him before Saturday or risk not signing him at all. I don’t think the deadline will be today, and I wouldn’t be surprised if this one went on until the very last minute of the deadline. Interestingly, Man City don’t seem to have put in a bid for the player, and I’m wondering if Arsenal have an agreement in place with Man City not to bid for Arshavin and they get first option on Kolo Toure. Just a thought.

The “Cup Team” Tottenham are already out of the FA Cup after losing 2-1 to Manchester United. They are a “Cup Team”, a fucking shit one. You can take the Lidl Cup all day long, you’re shit in the Premiership, diabolical in the FA Cup and you’re not even in Europe. But they’ve always got the old 4-4 or 5-1 wild card. Why don’t you bring out a Premiership DVD?

On a side note, since Gallas hammered van Persie, he seems to have turned into the best player in the world. So all you Gallas haters have to at least thank him for that. Reverse psychology?
