How long before people stop saying that? I mean Diaby being the new Vieira.
After the 1-0 victory over the ever defensive Bolton, Diaby played in the fans favoured position in front of the back four, and to be perfectly honest we knew what to expect and he didn’t fail to deliver. He was absolutely useless as usual. When are some silly Arsenal fans going to realise this boy has always had potential, but is never going to reach the peaks we’ve all expected. Yes, he scored a great goal against Aston Villa, but let’s not forget the likes of Shaun Bartlett and Tony Yeboah have won the Premiership Goal of the Season in recent years, a great goal does not mean you are a great player.
What do other Arsenal fans thing of Mr Diaby? Do people still actually believe he will come good? If so, please help me out, because I just don’t get it.

He is a quality player, but he has problems – he will never fulfil his potential until he starts to pass more instead of trying to beat 3 players every time he has the ball.
He isn’t a defensive midfielder – his best position is in the hole – he can shoot excellently and pass ok, but he needs to put a lot of effort in to fulfil his potential.

Don’t get me wrong I don’t dislike Diaby, I just think he is an absolutely useless footballer. But every team has one.
I don’t mind Diaby. I’m a lot more confident in his passes then Bendtner’s.

I just think he has a huge amount of potential – but he is lazy and he seems to think he is this big name who doesn’t need to make an effort..
Diaby is a really rubbish footballer who very occasionally does something quite good.
