When I saw the headline at BBCs website “Denilson given trial with Bolton”, I was honestly one of the happiest men alive. Then I realised it was the real Denilson, the one who was actually quite good once, yet almost forgotten.
I’m not being over-critical on our Denilson, or maybe I am, but the bottom line is he is shit-house. He does have a great touch, but he can’t pass, he can’t run, he can’t tackle, and he don’t seem to want to track his runners, but I’m willing to give him a chance. This is the first season where he has had a regular run in the side, and I’ll give him until the end of the season before I put him in the same category as Diaby.
There seems to be movement regarding the alleged Arshavin to Arsenal news, but I’m still not convinced by this and I’m not getting too excited until I actually see him in an Arsenal shirt. In the summer were meant to be signing Xabi Alsonso and/or Inler from Udinese. Neither happened. Let’s wait and see.
We should sign Scott Parker.

You call the Arsenal Denilsion sh@t? You are crazy
I must be crazy.
I dont think he is very good . he cant tackle like Flamini could and he isn’t mobile enough.
Hmmm.. I think you’re comments about Denilson are way off the mark, he is a good passer of the ball, he just needs games. We have already seen improvements this season.
Thanks for the chuckle. But you really have no clue if you think Denilson is crap. None. Zero. I’m not saying he is fully developed, but he’s had a very good year, and he’s only 20.
Denilson has been one of our top performers this season, just take a look at the stats. You must be a spud.

i think that denilson still need some time to mature and arsenal cant afford to give him time to mature since they are hungry for glory. he should go to some smaller but competitive club to get some regular start-up and maybe a few years later he will appear to be one of the best midfield in EPL.
I want to know what stats I’m looking for to convince myself that Denilson is good?
I’d like to know the following: Tackles made/won, interceptions made, yards run, blocks made, etc.. I guess the sort of stats you associate all strong defensive midfielders with. I don’t want to know about assists and goals, its not his job. We are leaking goals and losing games for fun, and a good defensive midfielder prevents losing games. He doesn’t change draws into wins, he prevents losses. If I can be proved wrong then I will eat my words.
Have a look at the Telegraph’s match reports, they have a very detailed tool which shows postions, passing completion, tackles, how many passes recieved and given etc. and the Opta stats for him.
Scott Parker? The one that was absolutely destroyed by Villa?
You cannot judge a player on one performance.
Hello,
I think Denilson has a good future but he needs time.
Scott Parker does not convince me, I think he is not a player for a top team
Arshavin is not the necessary player, ok Fabregas is injured but when he is ready, what will it happen? who will be in the bench?Fabregas?Arshavin?Nasri or Rosicky?

having fabregas, nasri, rosicky and arshavin to choose from is a fantastic headache for any manager
Scott Parker has never been a good player. Matuidi is far more talented and would come much cheaper than Parker.
denilson is fucking shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit
the only reason wenger plays denilson is becasue he sucks his fucking dick the peodaphile
i recommend…
