TRANSFER WINDOW NEARS AND ARSENAL ARE SIGNING KAKA, IBRAHIMOVIC AND BENZEMA

Well, we’re not really signing any of the players mentioned in the subject, but it won’t be long before we’re linked to all of them. It does seem that the silly time of the season has started, it’s the time where we are absolutely linked with every player around.

The rumours regarding Arshavin are heating up, and I’m sure this is a ploy for Tottenham to bid £20m for the player and get mugged off again. Seriously how many times can one team get absolutely battered in the transfer market? Bentley £15m, Bent £16.5m, Modric £16.5m, Gomes £8m, Hutton £9m, Zokora £8m, Pavlyuchenko £14m, Corluka £8.5m, fucking idiots. To be fair to them they sold Carrick for £18m, Keane for £16m or so, and Berbatov for £30m, so they are a fantastic selling club.

Anyway, back to the subject at hand. We’re being linked with the whole Newcastle squad, Mikel Arteta, this 4 player exclusive which is fantastic, and I’m sure many others which we will never see in an Arsenal shirt.

Seriously, who do you think we will realistically sign in the transfer window? I know the Arshavin rumours are getting strong, but will Wenger really sign a player who is cup-tied for Europe? Does Wenger really believe we have a chance of winning the Premiership?

Personally, I’d rather we signed players who were not cup-tied for Europe, and throw everything into the Champions League. The players I think we could do with would be Scott Parker of West Ham, and somone like Martin Laursen of Aston Villa, but they won’t sell him. Ashley Young would be magical too, but unrealistic.

Also, we need to keep hold of Gallas as he’s a top quality defender and there isn’t many quality defenders available. Before anyone says Micah Richards, he is shit-house! Watch him play, he’s useless. I’ve just signed him in Football Manager though.
