Zat Knight scored an injury time equaliser for Aston Villa after Arsenal took a 2-0 lead only to let it slip.
I don’t want to say “I told you so” but read my post here and you’ll find that I once again predicted the score. Maybe I should start betting on these games.
Anyway, the goals came from probably our two worst players this season, Denilson and Diaby, before a Barry penalty and Zat Knight injury-time goal pulled it back for Villa.
I just wish people would listen to me when I told them Diaby is shit. Some Arsenal fans still seem convinced that he’s a decent player. Well, my opinion is that he’s pony and my opinion is right, end of story. Yes, he scored a goal today, but you don’t judge Diaby on his goals do you? Otherwise he’d be even worse than what I know he is.
Anyway, onto my match ratings, here you go:
Almunia (5/10) – Wasn’t bad, wasn’t amazing. Not really much he could do about either goal.
Sagna (8/10) – Best player on the pitch. Different class.
Gallas (7/10) – Looked solid enough. It was a silly foul for the penalty, but overall he looked good.
Toure (6/10) – Looks out of sorts. I was wondering why Wenger had gone dark on Toure recently, but I think I can see why. He’s quite a headless chicken, and he may run a lot but that’s not going to be good enough. We’ve looked more solid with Gallas and Djourou at the back.
Silvestre (7/10) – Looked ok at left-back. Didn’t really do much wrong, and I think he’ll prove to be a valuable signing for Arsenal.
Eboue (4/10) – Didn’t do anything apart from set up the goal.
Song (5/10) – Got substituted during the first half after getting injured, but he didn’t really offer much before that.
Denilson (7/10) – Had some good and bad moments in the game, but he got better and better througout. I’m not his biggest fan but I thought he had one of his better games today.
Diaby (3/10) – This is how Diaby’s game goes. Wins the ball, gives it away, don’t move, wins the ball, gives it away, don’t move, wins the ball, gives it away, don’t move, nutmegs a player, scores a goal, he’s the best player in the world according to idiots. He is shit. Simple as. Absolutely shithouse.
Nasri (4/10) – Don’t fancy away games at all. Didn’t even know he was playing.
van Persie (7/10) – Looked like our most lively player in the first half, and you can’t really blame him for not doing much in the second half as he didn’t have much service.
Subs:
Ramsey (5/10) – Looked sloppy at times and dwells on the ball too many times in dangerous positions.
Clichy (-/10) – Too late to make an impact.
I would’ve been happy with 2-2 before the game, but I was absolutely choked after the game as the other three of the “big four” won and that’s a huge blow. Wenger will put all his eggs in one basket and go for the Champions League this season, which I’m confident that we have a great chance of winning.

Wenger seems to forget that its all about winning title and I wonder where he gets his philosophy from cos its only a fool that keeps doing things in particular way and expects a different result. Arsene is not the problem, he works his fucking ass off trying to configure the problems with the club. Every player he’s brought the youth system isnt going to be GREAT, but his youth policy DOES work. Arsenal’s problem is the lack of leadership and a lack of respect for one another. We need a real captain, we need a real leader, we need a Vieria. Diaby, is the closest thing to a Vieria style player, he’s physical, technical and works hard. Its the managers duty to bring players with the necessary qualities. But you can know that if you keep bringing in young inexperienced players with the only thing you can point to as potential. Though an Arsenal fan, consider liverpool, they needed a striker and brought in Torres. If you talk of Leadership, then Arsene should bring in players with such abilities. The game has moved on so fast that you have to bring in a player that would come and fit in right into the game. I just hope Wenger thinks right this time. The path he is taking is just not right.
