MIDDLESBRO 1-1 ARSENAL: SILLY SEASON CONTINUES

Going into every game this season against the mid-table and lower teams, you really have no idea what to expect. I’m never confident we’ll beat anyone outside of the top four this season, and its getting ridiculous. Anyway, we went to the Riverside and got a point, which might be considered a good point if we were top of the league, but right now it’s not good enough. Match report can be found here.

One thing that needs mentioning is that most Arsenal fans are getting what they have been asking for, and that is Abou Diaby playing. I hope all you Diaby fans are all over the moon. The guy is a joke!!! Its amazing how a majority of the fans want the likes of certain players out after not proving themselves after a season or two, yet Diaby has been with the club for three years come January and he’s been absolutely diabolical, yet loads of fans like him because he’s the same stature as Patrick Vieira. Let it go people, he will NOT come good.

If you haven’t watched Match of the Day, make sure you catch it tomorrow just to check out the slight altercation between Ricardo Fuller of Stoke and John Pantsil of Fulham. Pantsil went down like he’d been shot, and should have been sent off himself for his disgraceful diving. Talking about divers, Ronaldo possibly should’ve got sent off for his flick on Michael Dawson, but the delayed reaction of Dawson was worth a yellow card itself.

I’m tired, had a Christmas Party in Soho last night and got in at 6:30am! Why do I put myself through this!!

we have too many liabilities right now. denilson, almunia, diaby, song, van persie, to name a few.

Another weekend where the big four (possibly chelsea) all drop points and we can’t capitilize! I say you are right, it is a silly season. It’s surreal.

  3. Hi…seriously, you think Dawson deserved a yellow card for *not* making an issue of the Ronaldo kick? He stumbled after the kick and then turned to ask Ronaldo what his problem was (a valid question). With respect I think you’re taking the Arsenal-vision a touch too far there! Always nice to read people’s thoughts though so keep it up.

  4. I’m not defending Ronaldo for one minute, he deserved a yellow card, and wouldn’t have been surprised if he got a red card.

Dawson didn’t make an issue out of the flick, you’re totally right, but the Dawson reaction came about 2-3 seconds after the kick!
