CHELSEA 1-2 ARSENAL: NOT A GREAT PERFORMANCE, GREAT WIN

The title says it all, the performance wasn’t great, but the result was great.

We went a goal down through an own goal from Djourou, thanks to a ridiculous throw from Almunia that went straight to a Chelsea player. Almunia has had his mistakes now, drop him and give Fabianski a chance.

Two great goals from Robin van Persie won the game for Arsenal, and puts us 7 points behind the leaders. We still won’t win the Premiership, but we can be happy enough over the last few weeks that we’ve beaten Chelsea and Man United.

The full match report can be found here.

Joe Cole was trying to wind us up by going on about Arsenal playing attractive football but never winning trophies, and that it’s all about the medals at the end of the day. Maybe Joe Cole should take a look at this.

Fantastic quote of the day goes to Joe Cole too……

“We can play just as beautiful football as Arsenal”

I’m still waiting for the moment when Chelsea play football as beautiful as Arsenal. Joe Cole is on the thick side to be fair to him. Bless his little retarded heart.

Tottenham lost at home to Everton. Chin up fellas, still a long way to go.
