CAN ARSENAL RESERVES DO BETTER THEN CHELSEA’S FIRST TEAM

Arsenal have been drawn against Burnley in the Carlsberg Cup Quarter Final.

Burnley have already beaten Chelsea’s strongest team, but how will they fair against Arsenal’s reserve team? The game will not be as easy as most imagine, but I’m confident we can beat Burnley. The only stumbling block could be our young start freezing at what will surely be a hostile away ground for them.

I hope Wenger perseveres with the youngsters, as it proved last season that when you decide to mix it about a bit and throw first team players in, it just has the opposite effect. Some of the youngsters lose confidence and feel a bit out of their league. You need to ensure these youngsters are the ones, not Fabregas, Adebayor or Gallas, etc.

Carling Cup quarter-finals draw:
Stoke City v Derby County
Manchester United v Blackburn Rovers
Burnley v Arsenal
Watford v Tottenham Hotspur

I’m currently watching Liverpool destroy Bolton, and I hate to admit it but Liverpool have scored a goal that you are so used to associating to Arsenal, and we would be proud of it. Not sure how many passes were involved in the build up, but it was a lot.
