The Sun are reporting that Fenerbahce forward Daniel Guiza is claiming they are good enough to qualify for the Champions League group stage. Article can be found here.
He mentioned that the first game is forgotten and they are ready to do exactly what Liverpool did last season, and qualify totally unexpected. When he says the first game is forgotten, you have to wonder what game he is talking about. He’s already mentioned the game that’s forgotten!!
Personally, I think Guiza is on crack. I don’t want to get ahead of myself here, but Fenerbahce are one of the weakest teams I’ve seen in the Champions League, and they just don’t have the quality Liverpool had last season. Even if they beat Arsenal tonight, they still won’t qualify.
Prediction: 2-1 to Arsenal. We’ll concede and Guiza will score, but we’ll win. Goals from Nasri and van Persie.

Güiza is a very good player and he is ready to play in any championship and if Luis Aragones is sacked, maybe Güiza looks for another team during the winter market.
