So, after 11 games Premiership games I can safely say the season is well and truly over, as far as the Premiership goes anyway. Some people may think I’m over-reacting but it’s a harsh fact.
Anyway, we lost 2-1 to Stoke today, and here is the match report. I feel a bit numb right now.
We would need to go on a 9-10 game winning run to be in with a chance, not a 9-10 game unbeaten streak, but a winning streak, and it’s not going to happen with the players we have. I hope I can be proved wrong, but I just can’t see it.

The main problem is the central midfield position that we have been missing since Flamini departed. Denilson has done well going forward but defensively he is non-existent! I’ll tell you one thing I’ve noticed about him though is that he does have one of the best first touches I’ve ever seen, and I don’t think he gets credit for this, but his second touch is woeful! Alex Song isn’t ready yet, he will be in a year or so, but not yet. Diaby? Don’t get me started on Diaby, he’s useless. One game where the commentators think he played awesome doesn’t make him a good player.

Still a long way to go
dirk there is still a long wat to go but arsenal midfield is to light weight and there seems to alot of complaysent and abit aragent, i have say the young players have been big dasapointed with the young players especialy delinson, fab has been playing far to mush but is the only world midfielder right now arsenal clearly need an experiened dm and give fab the freedom to play,i feel song is good but very raw,but diaby should be played more often.
Fabregas hasn’t been himself since the departure of Flamini, he cannot dictate a game from within his own half, and we really don’t him to. Wenger amazes me sometimes. I agree with you Leon.

In January, wenger should bid 4 afellay, schweisteiger, arshavinl, aqualini, kuyt or huntelaar.
If wenger and the board don;t do anything to roster. We won’t be in champion league in future. Arsenal Players don’t seem liked they gave their best in every game except 4 walcott. they not runnin enough passing risky pass. And rvp got red card. We gonna lose badly to manutd next week 4 sure. Do sth Wenger. If we don’t improve at all, fire wenger !!!!!!!!!!!

Season is over..we will finish 4th or 5th at best..Wenger has mediocre players and is the most egoist manager in Europe..he wants to prove he can win with a below average set of players..tell me whether players like Song, Diaby, Eboue, Denilson would get first team football in Manu or Chelsea?? Wenger should go!!!!!
im a west ham supporter and a great admirer of arsenal fc. i would go as far as to say the arse are the best footballing side in the country. and wenger, by a mile the best manager.
but ive got to say that the ‘performance’ at stoke was a disgrace, all stoke had was the ability to rough up the arse up and some twat who could throw the ball a long way !and a few players who were given the remit to wind the fiery players of the arse up. and low and behold it worked 2-0 !!! pathetic11!!im afraid to say if they havent got the ability to cope with tactics as basic as stokes, they havent a chance in hell of winning anything.
