Robert Pires has heaped praise on Samir Nasri, claiming the player is close to perfection and has a similar relationship with Clichy that Pires had with Ashley Cole. And there is no doubting that was a great combination.

I’ve no doubt that if Samir Nasri stays fit he would be an absolute Arsenal legend, he seems to possess the qualities we’re looking for. The one thing I like about Nasri, which all of the greats have, is that he doesn’t seem to lose the ball. Every time he receives the ball, you always feel confident that he’s going to find someone with a pass and he’ll rarely lose possession. Similar can be said of Pires, Rosicky, Henry, Fabregas and Vieira (bar the Giggs wonder goal!).
