SUNDERLAND v ARSENAL: MATCH PREVIEW

After the recent thrashing of FC Porto 4-0 in the Champions League, Arsene Wenger has suggested that there could be more changes against Sunderland this Saturday, at the Stadium of Light. You can read the full match preview at Arsenal.com.

To be fair, Wenger also hinted at changes for the Porto game in the week, but only replaced Eboue with the fit-again Nasri. So, take the comments with a pinch of salt.

Alex Song is fit again, but I don’t think he’ll drop Denilson just yet to accomodate Song, and you just can’t see Wenger knocking Gallas on the head. I’d expect the exact starting line-up as the FC Porto game, possibly swapping Eboue for Walcott, but I think Walcott could get the nod.

Nice article at Arsenal Analysis regarding Quincy Owusu-Abeyie and possibly one of the reasons we sold the exciting youngster.
