ARSENAL TO FIELD YOUNGEST SIDE EVER

Arsene Wenger is set to name the youngest side in Arsenal’s history when the team face Sheffield United tomorrow night in the Carling Cup.

Jack Wilshere (16) is likely to start, alongside Aaron Ramsey (17), Fran Merida (18) and Carlos Vela (19). We are also expected to field a few veterans in Alex Song (21), Nicklas Bendtner (20) and Johann Djourou (21).

“There is a possibility [it will be the youngest side ever],” said Wenger. “In the first team there are many players around 20. In the Carling Cup we will keep a few in there but the side will be more between 16 and 19. At Arsenal you can say 20 and 21-year-olds are the experienced players.”

In other news, this celebration from Boo Weekley at the Ryder Cup was well out of order. I found it very disrespectful that he would wear white socks with black trousers and shoes in this day and age.
