BARAZITE JOINS DERBY

Young Guns has an exclusive on Nacer Barazite joining Derby County on loan until the end of the season. The article can be found here.

Great news for both teams and player, as Wenger believes the young Dutch star to have great potential, and a loan move to a lower league club could be just what the doctor ordered.

The 18-year-old is still relatively young, and you couldn’t really see him breaking into the first team ahead of the likes of Adebayor, van Persie, Bendtner and Vela this season. A season away, and many first team starts will do him the world of good, and he’ll come back a tougher and no doubt better player.

Meanwhile, promising Norwegian defender Havard Nordtveit has joined Spanish side Salamanca on loan for the season.

A loan move away from Arsenal is generally make or break for youngsters trying to break into the first team squad. Succesful loanees include Djourou, Bendtner, and Vela. Let’s hope Barazite and Nordtveit are just as successful.

Who would you like to see loaned out?

Some new lookalikes here.

  • This is excellent news, just what the doctor ordered. Perfect move on wenger’s part, these will improve now in a setting which will see them grow.

  • Walcott to milwall. Ramsey to the championship as well, and Wilshere to spain too when of age. bring in meaningful cover: xabi, inler, annan, hayden?

  • Wilshere should be loaned out this season, so he is ready and raring to go next year.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Wenger sticks with Denilson, Eboue, Diaby, Song for the defensive midfield position and goes out and buys a winger. At the moment Walcott is our only natural right winger, and he’s not good enough to start every game. These defensive midfielder names could all be a smokescreen for a winger.

  • this loan move will do barazite the world of good. what a prospect.

walcott can’t be loaned out. he’s an impact player and he will win us games from the bench.

  • It’s a shame he’s been loaned out, but youre right he’ll benifit from it and come back better and stronger next year.

I like players getting loaned out, as these seem to be the ones closer to the first team spots.
