I’ve been off the blog for a while, and loads has happened in the last few days. Adebayor will finally put pen to paper on a new contract. Great news as far as I’m concerned. He does have a lot of doubters, and a lot of Arsenal fans haven’t been too happy with his recent comments about wanting more money, but who can really blame him? If he was on the reported £30,000 that we were paying him, then he should rightly ask for a pay rise. Anyway, I think all Arsenal fans should get behind him and we could anticipate another 30 goals a season performance from him. If van Persie stays fit, then we’ll have a strike partnership as good as any.
Arsenal finally sign Amaury Bischoff, the Frenchman who plays for Portugal!! Looks like a replacement for Flamini, but Wenger has already made it clear that he’s a gamble and he will be out for a few months before we see the 21-year-old in action.
I’ve also been catching up on Sky+ with all the friendlies and things aren’t looking too bad. Bendtner is looking awful but scoring goals, Eboue has played in centre midfield, Diaby hasn’t, Wilshere looks like a great talent, Vela looks ok but I think we’ll see the best of him later in the season, Walcott is looking pretty handy, and we still have the two best full backs in the world. Looking forward to the Emirates Cup over the weekend.
Just turned on Sky Sports and saw David Bentley kissing the badge. What a prick!! Anyway, thanks for £7.5m.

bischoff could be a very interesting signing.
scott, my german’s a bit rusty but some one should do some background on this bischoff character, i thought initially he was a dm but i’m hearing conflicting reports on that. this player is without a doubt the most mysterious and intriguing development this summer. would really love to see an in depth report on this guy. usually if wenger’s signed him, ’nuff said, but this situation requires elaboration and clarification. exactly what did we sign?

I think he could be another Stefan Malz or Alberto Mendez.
