Arsene Wenger has finally come out and said exactly what every Arsenal fan was hoping for, and publicly spoke about his desire to bring a midfielder to the club.
When asked about his midfield, or lack of it, Wenger responded with, “We will need one more body in there”.
He also mentioned the midfield target being a “reasonable target”. I don’t know about you, but when Wenger says “reasonable”, I translate that to “cheap”. I don’t think Veloso, Barry or Alsonso would be “reasonable” targets.
Let’s wait and see.

we must sign a big player. i won’t be happy with another young french or african player. must buy experienced players.

He already said he won’t sign big names
reason : there will be less chance and opportunity for youngsters to unleash their potential.
so i think even if he is bringing in someone, it will be a nobody.
But he is great al these years in transfer

Definitely mate. He’s just not going to bid £15 or so (plus Hoyte) for a 27 year old, and even attempt to go for Veloso, who is probably priced around the £15m-£20m mark.
I’ve mentioned it before, I’d be happy going into the new season what we have. All the fit players will be like new signings this season.

yes we’ve got some exciting new players in the squad, but we’ve lost a few as well. we don’t win shyte this year. look for arsenal to start the campaign strong and fade away at the end, again. we just don’t have the horses to compete with the bigger teams. arsene won’t buy what’s needed, and it may be because there right player just isn’t out there right now, after all how many pires and vieiras are there out there??

Have to disagree Dan. If it wasn’t for ridiculous injuries last season, which nobody could have accounted for, we would’ve won the premiership.
We’ll be stronger this season.

we’ve lost experience again, wish i was wrong but i just don’t see it. the squad is good but everytime we’ve won things in the past it was with a much more experienced side. glichy is 23 and an old man at afc. if muntari could have been moulded into a dm, we should have bought him, he’s only 23 i know but what a talent. i believe we’ll produce some amazing style this year better than last but as for trophies i expect another blank. again, we just don’t have the horses, unless wenger can pull off some ridiculous magic in the transfer market. but if it’s true what i’ve read that our shirt deal is only 6m pa, less than ajax and other big epl sides, then it looks like wenger’s hand is likely very constrained.

something is badly awry with arsenal’s finances. our shirt deal and whoever’s responsible is just unacceptable.
