I don’t know about anyone else but I am more confident about this coming season then I ever have been as an Arsenal fan. There are rumours about Adebayor and Hleb leaving, and we’ve already lost Flamini and Lehmann, but I’m just not concerned whatsoever.
Adebayor, Hleb and Flamini were great last season, and we would’ve struggled without either of them, but I believe they are all absolutely replaceable. I’d be concerned if it was Sagna, Clichy, Toure or Fabregas. They are not replaceable right now. Yes, we could probably find better players, but not realistic targets.
If the rumours are true then we would replace Adebayor with Santa Cruz, Huntelaar, Martins, Falcao, or Eto’o and I’ll be happy with either of them. Same applies to Hleb, we’ll just bid for Silva or Arshavin. Flamini is the toughest one to replace but I’ve got no doubt we’ll fill the gap comfortably. Wenger obviously has someone lined up otherwise we would never be releasing Gilberto, according to reports.
When there was all the talk in the past about us losing Vieira, Henry, Anelka, and even Overmars, I was always worried and absolutely sick when each of them left, but it just doesn’t feel as bad as that this time around, even though some seem to think we’re in a crisis.

look you all pollyannas, the team is weak as shyte right now, wenger better have something up his sleaves or its another empty season hoping for top four again. with current squad we place no higher than third, or i eat my socks.

ive been an arsenal surporter all my life and thts how i want to stay with arsenal until i die.
the ponit tht im writing abwt is tht im gettin a bit worried by the lack of experience in our side i feel tht we need more experienced players in our squad like a new centre back, and get rid of calles i think his useless and he thinks tht he is bigger and better than everone else, and the goal he let in against fulham this season was his fault and if any one else done tht he would have a right go at them and the game against west brom he had an arguement with djroue ( how ever you spell it ) his dosent deserve to be captain!!!!
i dnt think we can win a title or any majoy cup with him in our side and tht many younger players ok its good to believe in them but arsenal have believed in them for abwt at 3 seasons now and we havent won anythin with them. maybe it might be time to say goodbye to wenger and bring in someone new!!!!
