We’re now being linked to Turkish wonderkid Arda Turan, German Lukas Podolski, and Spaniard David Silva. I wonder if there is a player under 25 playing in the EUROs that we haven’t been linked with. I’d sign Silva over any player in the tournament.
Like most Arsenal fans, after years of media speculation, we should take it with a pinch of salt. But, like most Arsenal fans, I can’t help but get excited. Why do I get excited linking us to all of these superstars when I know deep down we won’t be signing 47 players during the transfer window. Maybe we like to kid ourselves.
On a separate note, after watching the Germany v Austria game I just came to the conclusion that Pogatetz is probably the player who annoys me most in the Premiership. What is about this face that annoys me so much? He’s very chinnable, if such a word existed. Maybe I was a bit harsh with Pogatetz, because we all know Robbie Keane really is the most annoying plank in the Premiership.

Robbie Keane is right up there, Ronaldo is a little too obvious, but for me the player I hate more than any other is easily Didier Drogba – for the fact he’s the biggest cheat since Van Nistlerooy.
Oooooh good shout. For some reason I completely forgot about Chelsea players. I think Lampard and Terry are my #1 hated players.
