WHO’S WORRIED, ARSENAL OR MAN UNITED FANS?

I don’t know about you, but this is probably been the first season in a very long time when the transfer speculation regarding Arsenal players is not worrying me in the slightest. When we had the Vieira and Henry rumours of leaving it was always worrying as these two players were so pivotal to our success, but the likes of Flamini, Hleb and Adebayor (and even van Persie) being linked with other clubs has not worries me in the slightest.

Could this be down to the fact that Arsenal fans and Wenger is so used to losing the top players and replacing them comfortably, or is it just that the players I mentioned above are just not important to the club. I wonder how we’d feel if it was Fabregas?

Personally, I don’t care who the player was, I’d have total faith in Wenger replacing them. He’s done it in the past with numerous players - Overmars / Pires / Rosicky, Vieira / Fabregas, Anelka / Henry / Adebayor / Eduardo, Petit / Edu, Adams / Campbell / Gallas, etc.

I would be more worried if I was a Manchester United fan next season. Ronaldo looks like he could be off, and Nani is nowhere near ready to step up just yet. The fact that Scolari is the new manager of one of Man Uniteds biggest rivals can’t be helping with this. He’s clearly going to be telling him Real Madrid is the place to be. Queiroz is being linked to the Portugal job, which is both bad news for Man United and Portugal. Man United because he is a fantastic assistant, and for Portugal because he is a diabolical manager (ask Real Madrid if they remember him).

On a side note, Scolari is a great manager but he is definitely not well.

Do you believe Arsenal or Man United are going through rough times?
