Arsenal Opinion

First up, I checked out the leaked photos of the new Arsenal kit at Young Guns website. Looks OK, nothing outstanding, but there’s not much you can do without changing the kit drastically and we’ve all witnessed this before. The keepers top is……weird to say the least. I’m not really sure what’s going on with that one, let’s move on.

According to Skysports, we’ve failed in a bid to sign the young Colombian centre-back Cristian Zapata. I’ve not really seen much of him but I’ve heard he is absolutely quality, and he’s replaced Gallas in my Arsenal team in Football Manager 08, so he can’t be that bad.

I’d like to thank Nutty Jens Lehmann for 4 fantastic years at Arsenal, and one stinker. Whatever people think of Jens, he’s been a brilliant keeper for us and let’s not forget he played a huge part in our famous unbeaten run. I just wished he’d chinned David Bentley when he had the chance. For me, this was his best save for Arsenal, and one of the most important. Ole’s face sums the save up, I think he actually went into shock and retired after this.

I’ll be back tomorrow, and I’ll post an article on players we should’ve signed last season. Sound dull? It will be.
