BARCELONA STAR TO SIGN FOR RIVALS, AND NASRI TO FINALLY SIGN?

According to Skysports, Tottenham are on the verge of signing Giovani Dos Santos from Barcelona, with both clubs and player agreeing terms.

Now, for an initial £6.2m fee, for a player believed to have been tracked by Arsene Wenger for the past couple of seasons, some may believe Tottenham have found themselves a gem. I’m not sure I agree.

I’ve watched Barcelona a few times this season and he’s never really done it for me. He did score a hat-trick in the last game of the season, but I remember Jermaine Pennant scoring a hat-trick in one of the final games of the season for Arsenal (against Southampton). It was meaningless.

Seriously, if he really was that good, wouldn’t some of the top clubs in Europe be after him? I think Ramos has paid £6.2m for a good compilation of YouTube videos personally.

Are we finally going to sign Nasri? When is this going to happen? According to GoonerTalk it’s going to take longer then we thought, I hope not. I can imagine a lot of very unhappy Arsenal fans if this deal was to fall through.
